The other day I was sitting meditating on the Capitol while my husband went in to get us coffee. As I was getting up to head over in his direction, I was paused...you may know that feeling...and I just waited, staring at some flowering bushes. A wanderer approached me and asked me if I was just taking it all in. I told him, "Yes. I wondered whether to say more. I decided to go ahead. "I am also being the change I wish to see in the world." We had a lovely conversation about being being enough...and also about the challenges of wanting to create and express in a world where it is challenging to often be on a different page than others. "Being is enough," he said. And then went on to express all the ways he feels stuck because there is also so much wants to create...

Oh, these pictures are so beautiful and calming.

I believe that it's really not that difficult to not notice the beauty of nature around us, we just make up an excuse of "not having enough time in our hands."

Something I've really appreciated this season is laying down on the floor to watch the clouds pass by in the sky through a wall sized window (it's huge!!) in my room. I've come a long way in appreciating these moments of stillness in my life very often🌻
